HB TempCon's RAP Active Temperature Controlled Containers Approved by Emirates

2026-09-29     15

Recently, the RAP containers independently developed by HB TempCon has successfully passed the technical review by Emirates and obtained official approval for air transport operations aboard Emirates’ fleet. This approval marks another milestone for HB TempCon’s two core product lines, RKN and RAP, within the portfolio of key Middle Eastern airlines, further expanding the global application footprint of domestically developed active temperature-controlled equipment.

As one of the world’s most influential air cargo operators, Emirates SkyCargo has built a route network covering six continents anchored at its Dubai hub, with profound expertise in pharmaceutical cold-chain transportation. The Dubai hub features professional pharmaceutical cold-chain infrastructure compliant with EU-GDP standards, alongside a complete system for temperature-controlled cargo transshipment, warehousing and full-lifecycle supply chain management. It serves as a critical transit hub for cross-border global biopharmaceutical distribution. Emirates maintains a rigorous approval and evaluation system for onboard equipment. The successful technical verification of the RAP-AT1 demonstrates the airline’s high recognition of the product’s safety metrics and temperature stability. Meanwhile, the year-round high-temperature ground operation environment across the Middle East will fully validate the RAP-AT1’s capability to maintain consistent temperature output under extreme heat conditions.

Leveraging Emirates’ extensive route network, the RAP-AT1 will facilitate the rollout of intercontinental cross-border pharmaceutical cold-chain transport services. Moving forward, HB TempCon will continue to expand partnerships with international airlines. With domestically developed and self-controllable aviation temperature-controlled equipment, the company will deliver safe and reliable airborne cold-chain solutions for the global biopharmaceutical supply chain.
